I opened my Etsy shop yesterday and had 2 sales today.
It was lovely packaging up my little parcel destined for Australia...how exciting!
I have more to sell on Etsy so check out my website to see my little Etsy shop.

paddling pool baths in September sunshine

September sunshine...

I love, love, love Autumn and when we lived abroad it was the season I missed most. Every sun-filled day feels like a treat, never knowing when the wind and rain will return for months on end. So it was truly gorgeous to be able to bath the kids in the paddling pool after a brilliant day spent at The Village Green - a local arts festival that was really inspiring.

On a business note, I realised all the cards I had printed were signed off with a spelling mistake...my fault! On the bright side though, I was never really happy with the layout or the fact that they weren't able to offer me recycled paper prining so I have designed my own and will print them out at home. I have created some posters so might start putting them up around town...quite scary going public with everything but I can't just sit in my little office(-come-cupboard-come-spareroom) waiting for someone to notice my work!

At last!

My Blooming Lovely Lip Balms

Finally, the wesite is ready to go! Still a couple more products to add and I want to create a great party section with lots of tips and ideas but at least most of it is done. I also did a beautiful order yesterday for a little girl turning 5 in the theme of Alice in Wonderland. I get so excited making new designs! As for my bath products mentioned on a previous post, lets just say they weren't quite marketable yet! They worked well but even my prettiest packaging coldn't make them look great so although my kids will get to use them, the website won't be featuring them. It is a shame because I took a look in the 'natural' bath products in our house, some specifically designed for children and they are full of unnatural ingredients including parabens which can mimic the hormone eostrogen. I don't want my children washing and soaking in chemcial baths! At least my squelchy, foaming bath putty is safe...and makes a great shaving creme for my legs!

I did have more success with my organic lip balms though and they smell and look gorgeous.
Have a look at the site and any feedback would be very welcome. x
